dnzo is a DNS filtering service provided and distributed by Flowtechs IT Services ("Flowtechs", "we"). This policy explains what we collect when you use dnzo, why, where it is kept and for how long. Questions: [email protected].

What we collect

• Your account: name, email, mobile number (if given), company name, language, and for invoices the billing details you enter (address, city, country, tax number).
• Your settings: profiles, devices and their names, linked networks and their public IP addresses, block and allow lists, schedules.
• DNS requests from your devices: the domain name asked for, the time, the device (its dnzo address or your network's public IP) and whether it was blocked. This is what lets dnzo filter and lets you see activity.
• Security records: sign-in times, IP addresses and browser type, to protect your account and stop abuse.

We do not see the content of the pages you open, your messages or your passwords: dnzo only answers which address a name has. We never sell data, never use it for advertising, and do not build profiles of people.

How long we keep it

• DNS requests: up to 90 days on our filtering servers, then deleted automatically. Your dashboard shows the last 30 days (Home 1 and 5 devices, Business Basic) or 90 days (other plans).
• Account and settings: while your account is open, and 30 days after it is closed; then deleted. Invoices are kept as long as tax law requires.
• Security records: up to 12 months.

Who else handles it

• Hosting: our servers in Germany (Contabo) and the United Kingdom (AlphaVPS); filtering servers may be added in other regions, listed here when they are.
• Cloudflare: carries the website and dashboard traffic and checks forms for robots (Turnstile).
• Quad9 and Cloudflare DNS: when dnzo does not know an address, it asks one of them. They see the domain name and our server, not you or your device.
• Zoho: sends our emails (sign-in codes, invoices, notices).
• Flowtechs' own helpdesk: your messages to support.

Children

dnzo accounts are for adults. A parent or guardian decides which devices use dnzo and can see their activity. Activity from a child's device belongs to the account owner and is handled as described here.

Cookies

Only what the service needs: a sign-in cookie, a "trusted device" cookie (30 days) and your language choice. No advertising or tracking cookies.

Your rights

You can see and change your details and settings in the dashboard, delete devices and networks at any time, and ask us for a copy of your data or to delete your account by writing to [email protected]. We answer within 30 days.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we tell account owners by email before it applies.
